Department Profile

The Roads & Buildings (R&B) Department is headed by the Special Chief Secretary to the Government, who provides overall policy direction and administrative oversight. The implementation of government initiatives and projects under this department is carried out by seven Heads of Department (HoDs), each responsible for their specific subjects allocated.

The HoDs are responsible to ensure effective execution of schemes, infrastructure development, and maintenance activities in alignment with the department’s objectives.
